dc.description.abstract Parental involvement in a child’s life is important for academic achievement. This project focuses on the importance of parental involvement and the academic achievement of students through technology and programs used in the classroom. The workshops developed for this project are a catalyst for parents’ interest in technology and involvement at their child’s school. Research has shown that when parents are involved in school and help their children, the children have higher academic achievement. Technology plays a pivotal role in today’s education. Parents who understand and use technology to support their children in school will help them become successful and motivated at school. en_US
